About Us

Matt makes ceramic pots with a deep understanding that we’ve all been created to create. His gifting is in taking raw materials that rest under our feet and mixing, molding and firing them into something functional and beautiful for everyday use. Experience the journey of wild clay pots in the video below.

Statement

We make pots with a story, to enhance everyday moments.

Betsy and I have spent most of our lives in Bucks County, PA. We are a product of this area and have a great history here. We want to make pots that have a deep history here as well. Pots have been made from our local red clay for hundreds of years, that tradition went away, but we think it’s worth bringing back.  We want people to have a deeper connection with the things in their home and believe our customers want that as well.

In the wood kiln we fire pots made from our local wild clay mix. These pots have a more wild and rough look to them as they endure a dramatic and harsh journey. There’s something special about holding wild clay in your hands. Food for past generations grew from it. The roots of great trees held it tightly. The rain waters carried it off the field and along the water ways of our community where it eventually found rest in local creek beds. It has stories to tell. These pots were born here and want to connect us with something bigger than ourselves.  These pots are special to us.

Roadside Stand &

Special Events

Year round we offer our pots from a roadside stand at our home in Perkasie, PA. Our stand is open on good weather days. If you are traveling a distance, please call or text our contact number to see if the stand will be open. We’d love to see you. Thank you.

We also have special roadside events and indoor sales throughout the year. These include wheel throwing demos, seconds sale and holiday events. Join our Mailing List to be in the know.

We love selling our pots to those in our community and getting to speak with our customers. We started off selling on a roadside table and we’ll keep our roadside tradition going!
